Ask yourself a question: Do you wish we had never found out about the NSA or PRISM programs, which have outraged so many by collecting data on Americans telephone and internet usage? Do you wish we were all still blissfully unaware?
Your government does. They wish that we had never found out. They wanted to keep what they were doing a secret, so nobody would know. They are really angry at Edward Snowden for telling the American people what they were doing, which was spying on the American people.
It may come out later that Mr. Snowden may give information to foreign governments regarding, say, the names of CIA agents spying on foreign governments, or the locations of safe houses. If and when that occurs I will comdemn him for that. But to date what I have seen is someone who told the American people what there government was doing because he thought it was wrong. Now that I have looked at what he made public, I agree with him that it was wrong and I for one am happy he made it public.
Two links on the subject, the first is a link to Ron Paul's weekly podcast titled BIg Brother.

The second is a column about the NSA and the games they are playing with the truth on their website.

Feel free to disagree with me, maybe you wish we had never found out, but just be aware if your government had it's way Mr. Snowden would never have been allowed to tell Americans what it was doing. I am glad he spoke up.
